1.How to put an image in a post


First of all go to free image hosting sites like imageshack or photobucket or imagecave
There are also many sites for free image hosting. You are not forced to use the 3 above.
Then, upload your images there.
You will be given a link

Put it in the post to display it like this:


And you'll will then see your Image appear!

2. How to upload files and share with us

First of all go to free file hosting sites like rapidshare or megaupload.

Then, upload your files there.

3. Displaying Masked Links (Hiding the link behind a picture or text)

Now This is something optional and is hard to understand at first. These make the post a little nicer and cleaner but is optional.

After having uploaded the files, you will be provided a link.

4.What is .rar and how to deal with it

How to install .rar files

First of all you must know that all files of the forum except pics are posted on rar or zip format. this is a compressed type of format and you can put normal files like .sis or .jar in a single .rar or .zip file. the files must be in these formats in order to be posted in the forum.

In order to open these files you must have WINRAR or WINZIP installed on your computer. However i advise you to install winrar because it's the best one.

The process to get the files you want from the rar file is very simple:

You just open the rar file, right ###### on the file you want to extract and choose "extract to specified folder", then choose the folder which you want the file to be placed in.

Or you can just drag the file to the folder you want to place the file in your pc but you must have that folder opened on the explorer.

Select all files on the rar file and do the same process if there is more then one file on the .rar file.

Then all you need to do is select the .sis or .jar file (or any other) and transfer it to your phone through the method you wish (bluetooth, infrared, cable)

But there is another way to do this. the method i have shown above is for people who use the pc. For people who use their phone to download files you can also use a special app called ZIPMAN.

This app is very simple to use. just send the .rar file to your phone and you can extract the files you want right there on your phone, with this app, not having to use the pc.

5.How to Split (seperate) Large files using winrar.

First right ###### on the file you want and select'Add to Archive'

Then a window will open from Rar .....

At the bottom there will be a Tab saying 'Spilt to Volume,Bytes'

In the box enter a figure .. RememberBYTES ... For eg. if you enter 10000000 that will be equal to 9.53 MB ...

Remember you have to enter the value in BYTES .. So enter a big value..

And that's it, your File will be split into ur requested number of files.
