hello gays this is a complete guide on howto change Nseries fonts and all what you should know.
(sorry for my poor english

this is only for 9.1/9.2 OS

first create a new folder in your desktop name it fonts

now you may ask is there a special fonts for Nseries mobiles ???
the answer is NO, the Nseries support the TTF fonts..same fonts that
windows use
so just go to c:/Windows/fonts and chose any font you like or go to

http://www.1000fonts.com/index.php
or
http://www.fonts.com...Fonts/Top10.htm

now i have the font what i have to do ?
copy the font to fonts folder that you create it first time and make 3 copies of the font, right ** on the font chose copy than in same folder right ** and chose past so you'll get 4 fonts

now you have to rename te 4 fonts, the names of the fonts changes from mobile to other, for example N73 the names of fonts should be like this:

nosnr60.ttf
nssb60.ttf
nstsb60.ttf
S60ZDIGI.ttf

i have other mobile than N73, how do i know the names of fonts ???
Ok. thats very easy, using a file browser like X-PLORE or ACTIVE FILE on your mobile go to z:\resource\fonts you'll find 4 fonts so you have to use the same names..

now i rename my fonts exact like what i found in z:\resource\fonts, what i have to do now ?

now copy the fonts folder and using a memorycard reader past it to
M:\resource ( M: memorycard)
so it should be like tis M:\resource\fonts

you can do that by connecting your phone to your computer than chose mass storage

now just reboot your mobile and enjoy !!!!

Very IMPORTANT : when you change the font of your mobile you cant connect your mobile to the PC using mass storage WHY? to connect the phone using mass storage the phone should close all applecations runing from memory card, note that the fonts now are runing from the memory card so the phone cannot close the fonts while are using by the phone so you only use pc suite mode...BUT !! here is a tip to use it mass storage :
- shutdown your mobile
- remove the memory card
- power up your mobile, the mobile starts using normal fonts
- after the mobile starts put your memory card and now you can use it like mass storage when you finish reboot it after that the phone starts using the new font

Arabic users you can do that wit arabic fonts, please use a UNICODE font so you mobile can read english and arabic messeges
What is unicode font?? please goto www.www.google.com.com.com and you find evrything about it

I wanna delete the fonts what i have to do ? using a memory card delete the fonts folder M:\resource\fonts reboot the phone and thats all

or

- shutdown your mobile
- remove the memory card
- power up your mobile, the mobile starts using normal fonts
- after the mobile starts put your memory card and now connect it to your computer use mass storage mode after that delete fonts folder, reboot the pone and is OK

now here is my screenshots, i'm using N73

please post your screenshots if you change your font

Do not delete this post! I find this method much easier then the other method. This method is much more explained as well and the use of screenshots makes this method easier to understand! With the other method I couldn't install fonts but with this method it worked first time!

Nokia 3250 has this in z:\resource\Fonts
S60SC.ccc
S60DIGI.ttf

How can i put fonts on the Nokia 3250 if there's only 2 of this in the Z drive? i tried but the fonts wont work. Some phone only has 2 type of fonts in it what should i do?

well when you copy your own font.. you paste it 2 times.. then rename both files to match what you have on your phone. Maybe that will work.

Hi Pranav,

Few questions / thoughts?

Can't we do all this (changing fonts) in phone memory i.e. C:\resource. I have noticed that we can easily access this directory and create directory / files in it by using file explorers. If this could be done, the only issue I can foresee is that how can we delete fonts in C:\resource and revert to the original fonts if there is a need because those fonts (in C:\resource) would always be in use and therefore couldn't be deleted. Could this be possible by rebooting the phone in 'Safe Mode'?
