hi i have tomtom 6.02 installed and i have downloaded the map folder for united kingdom. please tell me where i should put this folder because evrytime i open tomtom it says no maps found

Create an Folder named "tomtom" and put your map and all other things in it.

For example: Your TOMTOM Voice folder is in ROOT of your MS, is it?

Just move it to the folder "tomtom" and all other files too, wich you normally keep on the ROOT of your MS.

This will surely work, and your ROOT of MS will be clearer!

i have downloaded uk maps from the above links

It is a folder named ; United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_715_1703 163mb

it contains the following files
CLINE.DAT 58.7mb
CNAME.DAT 23.5mb
CNODE.DAT 17.8mb
CPHONEME.DAT 5.8mb
CRPOI.DAT 3.48mb
cspeech_GBR.dat 19.1mb
cspeech_IRL.dat 2.31mb
DeletedPoi.local 1kb
FACES.DAT 24.1mb

and also some others files.

no matter where i put this folder even in the tomtom folder it still says no maps found

plz help us out

the tomtom folder contains a number of .chk and .vif files.
i have put the maps files in it but stil no maps found

note i didnt create the tomtom folder i copied it. it was given in the links prosted here

Dear, If you create such an "tomtom" folder, you need to move every folder, wich is from TOMTOM Navigation, in it.

See my screenshot. I have moved every folder in this one "tomtom" Folder:

hi i have a n82,

i cant get this to work even though i have follwoed the instructions exactly

i have all tomtom files on my root and all i get is the tomtom introduction screen running but nothing else, it just has the world spinning round.

Any ideas please
