Please note that this release does not work on Battle.net. If you want to
play on Battle.net, you really should buy this fine game, get a legit
key and support Blizzard. It does however work with tcp/ip net play.
They spend years on this game, pushed the deadline numerous times,
and managed to miss the graphical revolution above 640*480 by a year.
They really deserve your support. Cough.

In the Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, you will return to follow the path
of Baal, the last of the Prime Evils, into the Barbarian Highlands of the
north. Traveling with hordes of demonic minions, Baal intends to corrupt
the powerful Worldstone, which protects the whole of the mortal plane
from the forces of Hell. You will face a new series of quests and
challenges to prevent the vile minions of the underworld from destroying
the world of Sanctuary.

As you would expect this expansion set requires the original Diablo 2. Of
course you will not be able to play the game online, go buy it! After you
install don't forget to copy over the cracked EXE.

Well I promised myself I would return to this game one day and create a custom installer for it and here it is. I added some changes. First off, I didn't include a guide because the game is pretty straightforward. Instead, I included all of the current Novels and the full OST, and is completely patched to v1.12 and cracked.

Secondly, this game uses a resolution patcher by default. What this does is allow you to play the game at MUCH higher resolutions. If you're sick of the old 800x600 resolution, then you'll love this patch. It activates automatically once you start the game. To change your resolution, load up your character and change it in the options menu.

Thirdly, I've added the latest Median mod to the game. What's the mod? Well it adds so much new content to the game it's practically a new experience. You get a bunch of new skills, items, hirelings etc. It's activated by default so you don't have to do anything, but if you no longer want to use it, just delete the "patch_d2.mpq" file in the game's directory and rename the backup file to that name. That instantly makes it all normal again.



Fourthly, have fun! It should work just fine over lan so play with your friends until Diablo 3 is released! I hope this installer is useful and you'll download my future uploads.
